Baby Girl Nursery Closet Reveal

Our sweet Ella Kate’s nursery closet is finished and I’m so excited to share how it turned out. The room we chose to use as a nursery is fairly small including the closet, so I wanted to make each inch of the space both functional and meaningful.

We started off by removing the builder grade wire shelf from the closet, filling the holes and giving it a fresh coat of paint. It took me a while to decide on the perfect shade of pink for the space and It turned out just as we had hoped. My husband added 3 floating shelves that are the perfect size for holding small bins. I chose rope baskets to add some texture and conceal things like extra bedding, bibs, larger size clothing and all the sweet little baby things that need a space to go. While we could have added three more bins to the the bottom shelf, I decided it would be a fun space to store a few special things we’ve collected. We added a simple white clothing bar and white wooden baby hangers.

Since every inch of her closet space counts, I used rope bins at the bottom to store burp cloths and muslin swaddle blankets. These are things we’ve used really often with our previous two babies and it’s super convenient to be able to grab the whole bin and bring it to another room when needed.
