What’s In Our December First Boxes

Since Christmas is my absolute favorite holiday, establishing Christmas traditions after having kids has meant so much to me. I hope that my boys will have the best memories of our celebrations together over the years. A new tradition we’re starting this year is December 1st boxes.

In previous years, I’ve assembled Christmas Eve boxes with small treats and festive pajamas. This year, I thought it would work better for us if we do a December 1st box instead, allowing them to wear their special pajamas all month long. Christmas Eve is already filled with so much excitement so I thought it would be fun to spread things out throughout the month. Here’s what I’ve chosen to include this year.

Since Christmas Day is usually filled with so many fun gifts and toys, I wanted to avoid additional toys or things that will end up as “clutter” in our home.

1. Cozy Sherpa Blanket– My boys are going to love these! They’re super soft and perfect for snuggles while watching Christmas movies. They’ll be able to use these well beyond Christmas as well.

2. Christmas Pajamas– Burts Bees Pajamas are always one of my favorites for kids. They are soft, fit great and come in the cutest prints. I love the neutral colors of this set

3. Reindeer Sucker– I found these adorable reindeer lollipops while browsing Dollar Tree. It’s the perfect little treat to tuck into their gift. I removed the store packaging, covered them with a cello treat bag and tied a simple bow with bakers twine. I love to add small touches to items like this, it makes everything feel a little more special.

4. Unbreakable mug– Hot cocoa is always a highly requested treat at our house and I thought these little mugs would be perfect! They’re a great size, much lighter than a ceramic mug and I won’t have to worry about them being dropped and broken.
